User management

Available in the Professional & Enterprise plan.

In the Professional and Enterprise plan, you get access to the user management and can create additional users. How many users are available depends on the plan and the ordered user licenses. The number of user groups is not limited. You will get the opportunity to create individual teams within groups, which can work independently and autonomously in easyfeedback. As the administrator you will have an overview of all accounts and the rights to manage them. An administrator can define additional administrators with the same rights.

New users and user groups become available immediately after activation of the plan.

Please proceed as follows, to create new users:

  1. Click on Account and select User management
  2. Click on Create new user
  3. If you want, select a role and a user group
  4. Enter title, first and last name, email address and select the user rights
  5. Select the individual rights (not necessary if you select a role before)
  6. Click on Save

After saving, an email with the login data will automatically be sent to the new user. The new user can sign in immediately and start to work in the easyfeedback survey tool.

Please proceed as follows, to create a new user group:

  1. Click on Account and select User management
  2. Click on Create new user group
  3. Enter a name for the user group
  4. Select the superior group to the new group
  5. Click on Save

After saving, the new user group is displayed and you can assign users to the group.

Edit users / groups

The user managemnet lists the created users and groups. If you want to edit a user or group, click on the pen icon on the right of the respective user/group.

Delete users / groups

To delete a user or group, click on the X symbol to the right of the respective user/group. The deleted user is blocked from access immediately after deletion.

Create roles
In order not to have to set the rights individually for each new user, you can define roles that you simply assign to the user. Both for new users and for existing users.

To create a new role, proceed as follows:

  1. Click on Create new role
  2. Enter a name for the role
  3. By clicking on Default role for new users, this role is automatically selected for each new user
  4. Select the rights that the new role should have
  5. Click on Save

Default role
If you define a role as default, it will be selected automatically for each new user. Only one role can be selected as default at a time. If you select a role other than default, that role will automatically become the new default.

SSO - default role
Defining a default role makes sense for access via SSO. As a result, all new users automatically receive the rights predefined by you and you do not have to select the rights manually for each user.

Assignment of rights

You can assign any of the following rights to the users, as you wish:

  • Create and edit surveys within the user group
  • Use templates of this user group
  • Use templates of all user groups
  • Delete templates
  • Activate and pause surveys within the user group
  • Complete surveys within the user group
  • Delete surveys within the user group
  • Access to the results of the surveys

  • Use layouts from this user group
  • Use layouts from all user groups
  • Create and edit layouts in his user group
  • Delete layouts in his user group

  • Use participant lists from this user group
  • Use participant lists from all user groups
  • Create and edit participant lists in his user group
  • Delete participant lists in his user group

  • Create and edit Users
  • Search for participants in all user accounts, participant lists and survey data
  • Execute orders

  • Allow admin functions
  • Access to the Result STUDIO
Note: The additional assignment of the "Allow admin functions" right cancels the user administration in Result STUDIO. This means that the user has access to all surveys/results even if they are only assigned to one user group.
