You can automatically detele your survey, after a previously set time. The deletion routines enable you to define the times, when a survey or participant list will be deleted. This feature was built to help you in effectively ensuring data protection and / or data classification with easyfeedback.

Functionality of the deletion routine

As soon as you have assigned a deletion routine to a survey or participant list it will be checked for the defined date. When the deletion deletion will be reached, the survey or participant list will automatically be deleted.

30 days in advance of a deletion the admin of this easyfeedback account will receive an email with the notification announcing the forthcoming deletion.

Note
A survey or participant list will always deleted when the pre defined period of the deletion routine has been reached or exceeded.
Example:
You have created a deletion routine where the survey or participant list should be delete after 3 months automatically. If you assign this deletion routine to a survey / participant list that is older (creation date) than 3 months, the survey / participant list will be deleted automatically during the next daily check, because the creation date is "older" than 3 months.

How to set up a delition routine:

Click on Account data (Account > Accountdaten) (account > account data) and choose the Admin area
Click on Add new deletion routine
Enter a description and select a date, when the deletion should be carried out
Click on Save

As soon as you have created a deletion routine, it will be available for selection in the settings of your surveys and for the participant lists.

Options

Deletion routine must be assigned for each new survey and participant list.
When you activate this option, every survey or participants list must get a deletion routine before creating it.

When changing a deletion routine, date of deletion cannot become earlier than the currently selected date. (Deletions can only be changed to the future)
If you have activated this option, a delete routine of a survey or a participant list can still be changed. The difference is, the date can only be moved to the future and not be set any closer than the current deletion date.

Please proceed as follows, to assign a deletion routine to a survey:

Select the desired survey in the Overview
Click on Settings
Choose the deletion routine, at the bottom of the page right at Autom. Deletion
Click on Save settings

Please proceed as follows, to assign a deletion routine to a participant list:

Click on the menu Participant lists
Select the desired participant list
Choose the desired deletion routine at the bottom of the page
Click on Save
