Functioning of variable / parameter filtering

survey result filter parameter

The variable / parameter filtering offers you several options. First you have to select a variable. In the dropdown you will find all variables available in your survey.

You can choose from two options: 'contains' or 'exactly'. Enter the parameter for the filtering into the text box on the right. Select an options, 'exact' and 'contains', to decide, whether the parameter (text box) should only be included or must match exactly.

If the text box is empty, you will get all results that contain the selected variable.

You can create additional parameters and specify your filter settings, with the  + parameter  button.

Example:
In a survey you might want to see all results from participants who lived in New York. Then your settings will look like this:

variable: city > option: exactly > textbox: NewYork
