Settings and options of the Text Response:

Text before the input field
Here you have the possibility to give a singe word or a short text as a guide in front the input field.

Text after the input field
You have the possibility to give a single word or a short text as a guide behind the input field.

Text before and after the input field
Here you have the possibility to give a single word or a short text as a guide before and after the input field.

Input field "width"
With this option you can define the width of the input field.

Required question
This allows you to declare the issue as a mandatory question. The participant has to answer this question before he can move on to the next page.

Randomizing
If you select this option the answer choices will be displayed in random order for each participant.

Additional text box under the question
With this option you can place a text box directly below the question, e.g. for comments. The text field can be defined freely in its width and height.

Help icon (tooltip)
With this option, help texts or further information can be placed behind a help icon next to the question title.

“no statement” button not to answer the question
This option is useful if you have a mandatory question. It allows the participants to continue the survey, even if they don't want to give an answer.

Validate text boxes
With the option „Validate text boxes“ you can pre-define the format for entering of text answers. Possible formats are

Character length
Integer
Decimal number
Date
Email
Website URL

Upload Image

In addition to uploading an image directly into the questionnaire, you can also upload an image into the question. The advantage is, that you can place an image between the question line and the answer options.
