How can I check if filters, jumps, or logic are working?
You can test filters, jumps, and logic using the survey preview. Simply open the preview and take the survey from the respondent's perspective to verify the settings. What happens if multiple jumps have been set up on a page?
If you have included multiple filters or jumps on a page, the jump to the lowest page number always takes precedence.
Example:
For a yes/no question (answer: No), the participant should jump to page 5. For a closed-ended question (answer: “Bicycle”), the participant should jump to page 3. At the end of the page, a global jump to page 7 is enabled.
In this case:
If the participant answers the closed-ended question with “Bicycle,” they will jump to page 3.
If they do not answer the closed-ended question but answer the yes/no question with “No,” they will jump to page 5. What happens if the respondent clicks “Back” after a jump or a logic rule?
If you use filters, jumps, or logic rules in your survey and allow the respondent to click “Back,” they will be taken to the previous page where the jump or logic rule was triggered.
